Baru-baru ni tulisan saya mengenai MPK (Majlis Perbandaran Kangar) berkaitan dengan permohonan penebangan pokok kekabu telah saya utarakan dan saya merakamkan jutaan terima kasih atas jaminan untuk menebang pokok tersebut.
Walau bagaimanapun, saya sedikit terkejut juga apabila MPK dalam seminggu yang lalu telah menebang pokok pukul lima yang masya Allah 2 kali lebih besar dari pokok kekabu. Kerja-kerja penebangan pokok tersebut masih berjalan sehingga hari ini. Harap-harap selepas ini, MPK akan mengambil tindakan sewajarnya. Insya Allah. Kami hanya mampu berharap.
